When you sleep in Soldier position you have to get a thin pillow that is strong. This manner is the most healthy, even tho not many people sleep like this. The body should be completely down while the head is tilted a little bit. A thick pillow would not be good for your body while laying in soldier position, so go for a thin but strong pillow to be comfortable.
